Match the magic level

Your decoding skill must meet the scroll or loaded book's required level. A book must also support the level of the scroll you want to store.

One book, one exact scroll

Once the first scroll is inserted, that book accepts only more copies of the same scroll and level until its capacity is reached.

PREPARE YOUR MAGIC

HOW TO LOAD A SPELLBOOK

  1. Place the empty or matching spellbook in a quick slot.
  2. Place the scroll you want to store in another quick slot.
  3. Check that the book supports the scroll's required level.
  4. Use the scroll from its quick slot.
  5. The scroll is consumed and one charge is added to the matching book.

Empty book

The first inserted scroll defines the exact spell and level that the book will store.

Loaded book

Only another copy of that same scroll can be added. A different effect or a different level requires another book.

05
USING STORED MAGIC

CAST FROM THE QUICK SLOT

  1. Keep the loaded spellbook in a quick slot.
  2. Activate the spellbook to enter targeting mode.
  3. Select a valid creature or player target for the stored spell.
  4. A successful cast consumes one stored scroll from the book.

Wand charger

Equip the matching wand, place the charger in a quick slot and use it directly. The charger is consumed and refills that wand completely.

Protection

Place the Protection scroll in a quick slot and use it directly. It is consumed immediately and applies its effect to your character.
