Your decoding skill must meet the scroll or loaded book's required level. A book must also support the level of the scroll you want to store.
Once the first scroll is inserted, that book accepts only more copies of the same scroll and level until its capacity is reached.
Completely refills a compatible wand of the same level.
Inflicts continuing damage on the selected target.
Temporarily prevents the selected target from acting.
Temporarily disrupts the selected target's attacks.
Removes part of the target's current vitality, up to the spell's limit.
Temporarily slows the selected target.
Temporarily petrifies and immobilises the selected target.
Applies temporary protection to your own character.
Target resistance, existing conditions, protected monsters and the area's combat rules can prevent a status scroll from taking effect.

Each inserted scroll adds one charge. Casting from the book consumes one stored scroll.
The first inserted scroll defines the exact spell and level that the book will store.
Only another copy of that same scroll can be added. A different effect or a different level requires another book.
Equip the matching wand, place the charger in a quick slot and use it directly. The charger is consumed and refills that wand completely.
Place the Protection scroll in a quick slot and use it directly. It is consumed immediately and applies its effect to your character.
