Gem Chip

Every family has Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1 chips. Five identical chips can be exchanged for one item of the next stage.

Complete Gem

Complete gems are named Amethyst, Topaz, Opal and so on. They are used for equipment upgrades, recipes and higher gem exchanges.

Gem Cutting can fail

The result depends on the Human character's Gem Cutting skill. The rough gem must meet the character-level requirement, and the required cutting materials are consumed during the attempt.

Exchange five Level 3 chips of the same gem family for one matching Level 2 chip.

STEP 2

Level 2 to Level 1

Exchange five Level 2 chips of the same gem family for one matching Level 1 chip.

STEP 3

Level 1 to Gem

Exchange five Level 1 chips of the same family for one complete matching gem.

  1. Visit the Jeweller and open the chip exchange.
  2. Place exactly five chips of the same family and level into the exchange window.
  3. Check that no different chip is mixed in.
  4. Confirm the normal exchange to receive the next stage.

Use only the exact quantity of one gem family together with the listed Magic Platinum and Laim. The exchange returns the next complete gem in the progression.

OPTIONAL CHANCE-BASED ROUTES

GAMBLE AND ROULETTE

Chip gamble

Use identical chips and select one of the displayed results. Winning upgrades every submitted chip. Losing destroys Level 3 chips or returns the same number one level lower.

Gem double gamble

Submit up to twelve identical complete gems. A win returns twice the submitted amount; a loss destroys the submitted gems. Each attempt costs 10 LP.

Gem Roulette

Submit one complete gem for a range of possible results, including a Great Gem, lower chips, extra copies or no reward. Charged outcomes cost 10 LP.

Risk exchanges are not guaranteed

Read the selected exchange screen before confirming. Submitted items may be downgraded or destroyed, and some modes also consume LP.
